Police say incident is a botched robbery, victim targeted

Shooting victim dies at hospital

HARMANS, Md. —Anne Arundel County police are investigating a deadly shooting in Harmans.
Investigators said they are investigating the incident as a botched robbery in which the victim was targeted.
Police said a man in his 40s was found shot in the 7400 block of Railroad Avenue around 7:45 p.m. Thursday.
Police said he was taken to a hospital where he later died.
Homicide detectives are investigating.
