State police: Man trapped in car after crash

BALTIMORE —An Owings Mills man has died after rear-ending a tractor-trailer on the Beltway early Sunday.

State police said the accident occurred minutes after 4:30 a.m. on the Outer Loop near Greenspring Avenue, where Bennie Lee Shaw Jr., 34, of Owings Mills, rear-ended a tractor-trailer.

State police said Shaw became trapped in his car as a result of the crash, and paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
