Man falls from Pasadena water tower, dies

Man falls from tower behind police, fire stations 
PASADENA, Md. —A 21-year-old man who fell from a large water tower in Pasadena has died, Anne Arundel County police and fire officials said.

Fire officials said the man fell from a 200-foot water tower behind the Eastern District police station and a fire station just before 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 3700 block of Mountain Road.
The victim was a worker employed by a private contracting company and was working on communications equipment that is located atop of the tower, which is approximately 180 feet tall.
Paramedics tried to save the man's life, but couldn't and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
