Man dies after car falls on top of him

Rescue crews lift vehicle off of man

ESSEX, Md. —Baltimore County fire officials said a man died after the vehicle he was working on fell on top of him.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the 1000 block of Fox croft Lane in Essex around 6:20 p.m. Monday.
Arriving rescue crews found the victim trapped under his truck.
The vehicle was jacked up and the victim was pulled out from underneath it.
It took about five minutes for crews to rescue the victim.
Paramedics transported him to Bay view Medical Center in trauma arrest, where he was pronounced dead.
The man's name has not been released.
