Police investigating armed robbery at Towson Town Center Mall

Man shows gun after victim chases assailants through mall, police say
TOWSON, Md. —Baltimore County police are investigating an armed robbery at Towson Town Center Friday afternoon.

Officers were called to the shopping center shortly after 4 p.m. when they said a man was robbed in the men's bathroom near the food court.
Police said a preliminary investigation indicates that two men brandished a knife and demanded money and a cellphone from the victim.
The victim complied and then chased the assailants through the food court and into the third floor of the mall. The victim caught up with one of the men and pinned him against a wall outside the Call It Spring store, police said.
A plainclothes security guard helped the victim, but the second man returned and a physical struggle ensued, at which point, one of the assailants brandished a handgun.
Both men fled through an exit near the Littman Jewelry store. Police described them as two black men, 18 to 20 years old with medium builds. One was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, wearing it backwards, and a black Polo jacket with Polo horse insignia. The other was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, dark jeans and dark hooded sweatshirt.
The victim was not injured.
