Victims found within blocks of each other
Baltimore City police are investigating a double shooting that killed a cab driver and injured his passenger on Saturday afternoon.
Minutes after 2 p.m., city police were called to the 2400 block of Maisel Court, where a cab driver was shot in the back of the head. He was taken to an area hospital, where he later died.
Around 2:20 p.m., city police were called to the 2400 block of Dorton Court, where a man was found suffering from a gunshot wound to his hip. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was listed in good condition.
Investigators said that man was a passenger in the cab and that the two men had been shot at the same time.
There's no word yet if police have any leads on the culprit. Neither victim has been identified.
