City police investigate 4 sexual assault cases

Authorities say modus operandi same in each incident
BALTIMORE —City police said they are investigating a series of similar sexual assaults, including rape, that has happened over the past two weeks.

So far, police said they have four confirmed cases.
One incident happened on Ramblewood Road in north Baltimore, a second on Stamford Road in southwest Baltimore and two more in the northeast part of the city on Woodmount and Gunther avenues.
Police said the modus operandi is the same in each incident. The suspect approaches a victim from outside her home, shows a gun, forces the woman back inside and sexually assaults her.
Police have released a sketch and description of the rapist.
Authorities said the man is described as a black man with a light-complexion, between 5 feet 7 inches and 6 feet tall with a muscular build.
In each case, the man wears a black, hooded sweatshirt and ski mask, police said.
