Diamond necklaces worth more than $15K stolen in Hanover

Anne Arundel County police: 4 thieves on the loose
HANOVER, Md. —Anne Arundel County police said they are looking for four thieves who struck at a Hanover jewelry store.
 
Officers were called to the 7000 block of Arundel Mills Blvd. for a report of a theft that happened around 7 p.m. Saturday.

A Royal Jewelers employee told police four people came into the store, reached over the counter, took two diamond necklaces, valued at $15,759, from the display case and then fled on foot.
The thieves were last seen running into the wood line near the mall, police said.
No injuries were reported.
Police were not able to find the men who were described as black; one was 5 feet 8 inches tall, 160 pounds in his 40s, wearing glasses and a dark ball cap, dark hoodie and blue jeans.
The second man was described as 6 feet tall, 210 pounds, in his 40s, wearing a navy blue ball cap, navy blue button shirt, blue jeans with a horseshoe symbol on both rear pockets, police said.
Police said the third man was described as 6 feet tall and wearing a hoodie and the fourth man was described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, 230 pounds, wearing a white and black checkered button shirt.
