Woman seriously injured in east Baltimore shooting

Name of shooting victim not released

 BALTIMORE —Baltimore police said a woman was shot and seriously wounded in the eastern part of the city overnight.

Police discovered the unidentified victim shot around 11 p.m. Wednesday in the 2600 block of Grogan Avenue.
A medical crew with the Baltimore City Fire Department responded and took the victim to a hospital.
Her condition is unknown; however, because the victim's wounds were considered life-threatening, officers at the scene requested homicide detectives to respond.
Police did not release any information on a suspect or possible motive.
