Ozzie Newsome taken to hospital after Ravens game

Ravens organization didn't elaborate on health issue

CHICAGO —After an agonizing loss for the Baltimore Ravens in Chicago on Sunday, the team got more distressing news in the form of a health issue for one of its executives.

Ozzie Newsome, the Ravens general manager and executive vice president, was taken to a Chicago hospital after the game ended. The team said the move was precautionary.
In a statement, the organization said, "Ozzie Newsome did not feel well after today's game, and a team doctor recommended that Ozzie not fly with the team tonight." The statement didn't elaborate on the problem.
The Ravens reported that the 57-year-old does not have any known medical conditions.
