Police: Teen arrested in Curtis Bay burglary

Authorities say teen also responsible for thefts from cars
Anne Arundel County police said they arrested a teen in connection with burglary at a Curtis Bay home.
Officers were called to the 7800 block of Harbor Drive for a report of a burglary around 8:30 a.m. Monday.
A woman told police that she heard her dog barking and went to the back of her home, where she saw a man inside. The homeowner confronted the suspect, who then fled on foot.
A description was broadcast and responding officers found a person matching the description in the 800 block of Hilltop Road. Police said the man was detained and the victim later identified him as the person who entered her home.
After further investigation, police said they learned the suspect had property that was taken from thefts from car earlier that morning.
Police said a 16-year-old boy, who was not identified, was charged on a juvenile citation with numerous crimes, including burglary and theft from automobile.
The Department of Juvenile Services has been contacted for follow-up.
