Winning Mega Millions ticket sold in Maryland

Florida ticket also a winner in $400 million drawing, officials say 

 BALTIMORE —One winning ticket from Tuesday’s $400 million Mega Millions drawing was sold in Maryland, while a second was sold in Florida, lottery officials said.

The numbers drawn Tuesday night were: 11, 19, 24, 33 and 51 with a Mega Ball of 7. The winning numbers are posted at the Maryland Lottery’s website.

Officials said the Maryland ticket was sold in Charles County, but so far, no other details have been released.  More information is expected Wednesday.

Lottery officials also confirmed a second-tier $1 million ticket was also sold in Maryland. That means someone matched the first five numbers, but not the mega ball.

Seven other $1 million tickets were sold across the country, lottery officials said.

Tuesday night's jackpot was the third largest in Mega Millions history.
